What is the Kaiut Yoga Method?

The Kaiut Yoga Method is a biomechanical style of yoga developed by Brazilian chiropractor and yoga teacher Francisco Kaiut.

The Method is designed to address the physical, emotional, and psychological impacts that are a result of our fast-paced, modern lives. Unlike many other styles of yoga that focus on muscle stretching and high intensity movement, the Kaiut Yoga Method is slower paced and works primarily with the joints.

This focus on the joints highlights a powerful aspect of the Method: that as we unlock deep restrictions and improve mobility we are also able to positively impact our circulation, calm the nervous system, and increase our overall vitality and sense of well-being.

Accessibility is also an essential aspect of Kaiut Yoga. The Method can be customized to meet the needs of any body, no matter your age, injury status, level of stiffness or flexibility, or other health issues that you may be working with. Delivered within a series of 100 different classes, the Method utilizes a wide variety of poses that incorporate gravity, one’s own body weight, and props - like bolsters and straps - to target restrictions deep within the joints.
